STFM Project Fund: Supporting Innovative Projects to Benefit Family Medicine

About this program

The Society of Teachers of Family Medicine (STFM), through the STFM Foundation, provides Project Fund support for innovative educationally related scholarly projects that benefit STFM members and advance family medicine. Awards support projects for one or two years at up to $5,000 in seed funding or $10,000 in full funding, with no salary support or indirect costs and required matching in-kind contributions. Applicants must be teams of at least two STFM members whose project is recommended by an STFM Collaborative or Special Project Team and must include a significant role for a student, resident, or faculty member with seven or fewer years of experience. Proposals are due electronically by November 1 annually, and funds must be disbursed to an organization rather than an individual.
