The AASM Foundation offers the Strategic Research Grant to fund high-impact research addressing knowledge gaps in sleep disorders, with a focus on improving patient-centered diagnosis and care. Funding ranges from $50,000 to $250,000 across three categories, targeting research areas such as Obstructive Sleep Apnea, sleep health disparities, and dissemination and implementation research. Eligibility is open to sleep scientists with a master's degree or higher, including both U.S. and international applicants, though individuals with financial conflicts of interest or recent AASM board membership are ineligible. A letter of intent is required before the full application, and deliverables include peer-reviewed publications and progress reports.
