Student and Early Career Psychologist Engagement Award

About this program

Division 44 offers up to three $1,000 Student and Early Career Psychologist Engagement Awards to support LGBTQ psychology engagement by defraying travel costs to the APA Annual Convention. Recipients must volunteer in the Division 44 suite and attend selected division events during the convention. Applicants must be current graduate students or psychologists who completed a psychology training program within the past two years, and must be Division 44 members. Applications, including a CV and cover letter describing convention goals, Division 44 engagement, and other secured funding, are due electronically by March 31, 2027, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern time.
