About this program

The Association of Environmental & Engineering Geologists (AEG) sponsors the annual Student Professional Paper Contest, which recognizes outstanding undergraduate and graduate geology papers. Up to two awards are presented at the Annual Meeting, with each including a cash prize, certificates for the student and institution, and publication in Environmental & Engineering Geoscience. Applicants must be AEG student members in good standing and submit papers of merit in standard AEG/GSA journal format by May 1. Papers may address literature reviews or original research and must be submitted electronically as compressed PDF or MS Word files.
