Student Research Awards: Honoring Future Pediatric Leaders

About this program

The Society for Pediatric Research (SPR) annually recognizes exceptional student pediatric research through its Student Research Awards, with three to six recipients selected across MD/PhD and PhD, medical student, and high school or college student categories. Awardees present their research at the Pediatric Academic Societies (PAS) Meeting, and the award application must be submitted with the PAS abstract. Applicants must be first authors whose abstracts are accepted for PAS presentation, describe their individual contributions, complete the application and supplemental materials by the abstract deadline, and present the study at the meeting. Students must submit and present the abstract before receiving their applicable MD/PhD, PhD, MD, BS, or BA degree.
