About this program
The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation offers the Student Traineeship Award to introduce students to cystic fibrosis research and support continued engagement in the field. The award provides $4,000 for stipend support and/or research costs, paid to the institution where the work is conducted. Applicants must be enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral program and conduct a CF-related research project with an on-site faculty mentor. Applications are due online by 5 p.m. ET on November 16, 2026.
