Student Travel Awards for APA Convention

About this program

The Society of Group Psychology and Group Psychotherapy (APA Division 49) offers four $500 student travel awards to support attendance at the APA annual convention. Funds are intended for convention travel, with payment processed after required paperwork is completed and submitted. Applicants must be Student Affiliate Members of Division 49, demonstrate an interest in group psychology or group psychotherapy, and not yet have completed a terminal degree. Awardees must help promote Division 49 at two or more convention programs and submit a 500-word statement and current CV by June 1, 2027.
