Student Travel Awards

About this program

The Safety Pharmacology Society (SPS) offers Student Travel Awards to enable high school, undergraduate, and graduate students engaged or interested in safety pharmacology to attend the SPS Annual Meeting, providing complimentary meeting registration, one-year SPS membership, and travel support up to $1,000 (receipts required). Applicants must be current students (previous SPS Student Travel Award winners are ineligible) and submit a 350-word abstract via the online portal (optional expanded abstract allowed), a signed letter of recommendation from a supervisor/faculty/PI describing the applicant’s contributions, and a current CV; additional supporting documents may be uploaded. Applications are due by June 27 (annual deadline) and winners must present a poster PDF, attend poster sessions and the awards presentation; finalists are selected on abstract quality, scientific interest/originality, and overall candidate strength.
