About this program
The Hope Foundation’s SWOG Early Exploration & Development (SEED) Fund provides preliminary research support for projects that may lead to future SWOG or National Clinical Trials Network clinical trials and translational medicine studies. Eligible activities include preclinical research, secondary clinical-trial data analysis, pilot or feasibility studies, early-stage clinical trials, small self-contained projects, and research methodology or technology development, with requests of up to $62,500 for one- or two-year projects. Applicants must be investigators at SWOG member institutions, and applications are due July 1, 2026; projects should demonstrate potential to support future SWOG research and attract extramural funding.
