SysEB Snodgrass Memorial Research Award

About this program

The Entomological Society of America’s Systematics, Evolution & Biodiversity Section offers the SysEB Snodgrass Memorial Research Award to recognize outstanding doctoral research in arthropod morphology, systematics, taxonomy, or evolution. The award includes a certificate and cash prize, presented at the SysEB Section meeting during the ESA Annual Meeting.

Candidates must be ESA members and have completed a relevant doctoral dissertation at a recognized institution within two calendar years before the nomination deadline. Nominations may be submitted by anyone, including the candidate, and must include a nomination letter, CV, dissertation excerpts and approval documentation, and two confidential faculty recommendation letters; complete packages are due online by June 1 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time annually.
