TAAF International and National Conference Awards

About this program

TAAF (TAA International) offers travel awards to help TAAI members from developing countries who have had a paper or poster accepted at a conference but lack the funds to attend. For 2023–2024 the scheme includes four in‑country awards of up to £1,000 and three international travel awards of up to £2,000; awards may support attendance at domestic or international conferences and conference organisers of large international meetings may enquire about support for deserving authors. Applicants must be TAAI members under age 40 (students or young scientists), be citizens of a developing country, and demonstrate financial need plus an accepted paper or poster. TAAF will publish further eligibility and application-timing details (an MS Word application form is available); the scheme is currently open and enquiries can be sent to taaf-awards@taa-international.org.
