About this program

The GTR Community Foundation offers two competitive grant opportunities for Traverse City Area Public Schools (TCAPS): the TCAPS Academic Excellence Endowment and the Titan Excellence Fund Endowment. The former supports K-12 programs promoting academic excellence through innovative, curriculum-based initiatives, while the latter benefits Traverse City West Senior High students in areas like academics, music, athletics, and student life. Eligible applicants are TCAPS programs and projects, with applications accepted year-round, reviewed in November, and awards presented in December for the following academic year. Post-grant reports are required within one year to evaluate project outcomes.
