Temporary Suspension of Federally Funded Grant Initiatives

The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) has temporarily suspended federally funded grant initiatives, impacting programs administered by the National Endowment for the Humanities and its nonprofit affiliate, HumanitiesAR. This pause, effective January 28, 2024, halts the acceptance and payment of grants, excluding the Arkansas State Park Field Trip Grant and Helen T. Leigh Museum Field Trip Grant. HumanitiesAR will provide updates on the reopening of Letters of Intent (LOI) and grant applications. All federally funded grant initiatives, except the specified exceptions, are currently suspended, with no new applications or payments being processed.
