The Chester A. and Ethel J. Seran Scholarship Fund

Stark Community Foundation administers the Chester A. and Ethel J. Seran Scholarship Fund to provide renewable scholarships (awards vary, minimum $500) to Stark County residents pursuing a degree at an institution of higher learning. Priority is given in descending order to members of Westbrook Park United Methodist Church (highest preference for those entering Christian service and attending Otterbein College, then those entering Christian service at other colleges, then members entering other fields attending Otterbein, followed by those attending Malone or other colleges), then members of Stark County United Methodist churches, and then other Canton City residents. Applicants may be required to participate in a personal interview and must apply online at https://www.starkcf.org/onlineapp.
