The Loris and David Rich Postdoctoral Scholar Award

The International Retinal Research Foundation (IRRF) awards the Loris and David Rich Postdoctoral Scholar Award to support postdoctoral research in retinal and vision science and to expand the international pool of investigators prepared for independent research. The award is one of three IRRF Scholar Awards established in memorial to individuals who helped found the Foundation. Eligible candidates are postdoctoral-level vision scientists who must be nominated for the Scholar Awards; nominations are due March 15 and are reviewed by the IRRF Director of Education with final approval by the Board of Directors. Successful nominees are notified in writing by June 1, with funding commencing July 1.
