The Vilcek Foundation’s Marica Vilcek Prize in Art History awards $100,000 to art historians, curators, and fine arts professionals whose work has significantly influenced their institutions, scholarship, and the broader arts and cultural landscape. Established in 2024, the prize honors the legacy of art historian and philanthropist Marica Vilcek. Candidates are identified by field advisors, internally vetted, and selected as finalists in consultation with Marica Vilcek and the Foundation’s Board of Directors. The Foundation does not accept or respond to unsolicited nominations.
