About this program
Stark Community Foundation’s O'Jays Scholarship Fund provides renewable scholarships to Stark County students pursuing two- or four-year college, nursing school, or post‑high‑school vocational programs. Awards vary (minimum $500) and are renewable; applications are submitted online at www.starkcf.org/onlineapp with a listed deadline of April 1. Eligible applicants are Stark County high school seniors graduating in the award year or county residents with a high school diploma or GED who have been accepted to or are currently attending the specified postsecondary programs. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and, if their high school graduation is within three years of the award, have at least a 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or otherwise demonstrate ability to complete their program).
