About this program
The IBMA Foundation, established with support from Planning Stages, Inc., offers the Planning Stages Scholarship for Live Music Production to support students preparing for careers in live music event production, talent buying, planning, technical, and related fields. The inaugural $2,000 scholarship may be used for tuition, internships, and other educational expenses for the fall 2026–27 academic year. Applicants must be enrolled in or pursuing college, community college, or vocational training relevant to live music production, with preference for students supporting bluegrass and live performance events. Applications are due June 1, 2026.
