The Prof. Rahamimoff Travel Grants for Young Scientists

About this program

The U.S.–Israel Binational Science Foundation (BSF) awards the Prof. Rahamimoff Travel Grants for Young Scientists to support short research visits for Ph.D. students who need facilities or expertise not available in their home country; two calls per year fund ten grants per round at $6,000 each. Grants cover up to two-month visits to a higher-education or research institution in the U.S. for Israeli students or in Israel for U.S. students. The program does not support conference attendance, trips already completed, or very early/very late-stage Ph.D. students; awards must be used within one year of notification.
