The Rhoda and Bernard Sarnat International Prize in Mental Health

The National Academy of Medicine annually presents the Rhoda and Bernard Sarnat International Prize in Mental Health to recognize individuals, groups, or organizations for outstanding achievement in improving mental health; the award includes a medal and $20,000. Nominees may be from any discipline or nationality with no constraints on education or profession and are considered for contributions such as advances in understanding or treating mental disorders, innovations in mental health services, or public policy and leadership that improve access, delivery, or public understanding. Nominations are reviewed by a selection committee appointed by NAM, and nominations are currently open through May 20.
