About this program

The Skin Cancer Foundation offers one-year research grants to support innovative studies on skin cancer prevention, detection and treatment conducted through U.S. medical or academic dermatology departments. For 2026, the program will award two grants of $50,000 and one grant of $25,000. Eligible applicants include dermatology residents, fellows and investigators within 10 years of their first academic appointment. Projects must be conducted in or in conjunction with a dermatology department at a U.S. medical or academic institution.
