About this program
The Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation (ADDF), with the Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration (AFTD), offers the Treat FTD Fund to support novel, translational therapeutic development and clinical studies addressing unmet needs in frontotemporal degeneration (FTD). Applicants must first submit a Letter of Intent through the ADDF Funding Portal, demonstrating a biologically plausible target or pathway, therapeutic rationale, supporting data, and a feasible FTD study plan. Only applicants with an approved LOI may submit a full proposal, which requires detailed research methods, milestones, budget, team expertise, intellectual-property and commercialization plans, and— for biotech companies—a business packet.
