Thoracic Surgical Robotics Fellowship

The American Association for Thoracic Surgery (AATS) Foundation offers the Thoracic Surgical Robotics Fellowship, providing a one-day hands-on training course using Intuitive Surgical's da Vinci System, with a focus on clinical application and certification. Funding of up to $3,000 covers travel and accommodations for both the fellow and their attending surgeon, supporting participation in the program. Eligibility is limited to early career surgeons and residents/fellows enrolled in an ACGME-approved fellowship program with access to a fourth-generation da Vinci X/Xi System, who must also have a mentor with a minimum robotic volume of 25 specified procedures in the last year and complete prerequisite online modules and skills drills.
