About this program
Stark Community Foundation offers the Thurman Munson Memorial Scholarship Fund to provide one-time financial awards (minimum $500) to Stark or Summit County high school seniors who have been playing members of interscholastic varsity baseball or softball teams. Applicants must be graduating seniors residing in Stark or Summit counties, demonstrate scholastic aptitude and financial need, and supply verification of varsity participation. The scholarship alternates between male and female recipients each year, is not renewable, and award amounts vary; apply online at www.starkcf.org/onlineapp with the deadline generally listed as April 1.
