European Society for Clinical Virology Training Fellowships

About this program

The European Society for Clinical Virology (ESCV) offers limited Training Fellowships of up to €5,000 for researchers to visit European centers of clinical or diagnostic virology and acquire techniques relevant to their future work. Fellowships support study periods of up to 12 months, primarily covering travel and related expenses rather than laboratory bench fees. Applicants must hold a professional qualification in clinical or diagnostic virology, be affiliated with a biomedical institution, intend to return there, and train under an ESCV-member host laboratory head. Applications require a work plan, detailed budget, ESCV-member referee, and host acceptance letter, and are due June 1 or December 1 annually.
