About this program
The Botanical Society of Britain & Ireland (BSBI) offers annual Training Grants of up to £250 (or the € equivalent for applicants in the Republic of Ireland) to help aspiring botanists fund training courses delivered by external providers; applications are open each year from 1 December to 31 January. Applicants do not need to be BSBI members—members are favoured in the award process—and typical recipients include recent graduates beginning a career in botany and amateur botanists undertaking interest-led botanical recording.
