Transformation of Mental Health Care Program

About this program

The Klingenstein Third Generation Foundation’s Transformation of Mental Health Care program supports rigorous research testing scalable, innovative approaches to improving access to high-quality mental health care or prevention for children and adolescents, particularly underserved and minoritized populations. Up to two awards of $100,000 per year for two years ($200,000 total) are expected, with applications due November 20 at 11:59 p.m. EST. Eligible applicants are academic researchers at U.S.-based institutions whose research will be conducted in the United States, including investigators at any career stage who have sufficient pilot data and institutional support to lead the project. Proposals must include a rigorous research component, address implementation or service outcomes and scalability, and build on promising pilot work; service expansion projects without research and pilot data are ineligible.
