Translational Medicine Postdoctoral Fellowship

The PhRMA Foundation offers a Translational Medicine Postdoctoral Fellowship providing $60,000 annually for 12, 18, or 24 months to support multidisciplinary research that addresses unmet clinical needs and advances diagnostic, therapeutic, computational, or precision-medicine approaches. Research must state a therapeutically relevant hypothesis and include clinical collaborators and human or human-relevant validation; projects limited to descriptive biology or animal models alone are nonresponsive. Applicants may be U.S. or non-U.S. citizens but must hold a terminal research degree, be postdoctoral researchers at an accredited U.S. PhD-granting university, have earned the degree after January 1, 2024, and have at least two first-author publications. Letters of intent are due May 27, 2026, with full applications by invitation due November 18, 2026.
