Translational Medicine Predoctoral Fellowship

The PhRMA Foundation offers a Translational Medicine Predoctoral Fellowship providing $30,000 annually for 12–24 months to support thesis research that advances diagnostic, therapeutic, precision medicine, computational, or other human-relevant approaches to unmet clinical needs. Applicants must submit a letter of intent by May 27, 2026, with full applications due November 18, 2026, by invitation. Eligible applicants include U.S. and non-U.S. citizens enrolled full time and in residence at accredited U.S. universities who have completed at least two years of coursework, are engaged in PhD thesis research, and have authored a publication or presented a poster. Proposals must state a therapeutically relevant hypothesis, involve clinical or human-relevant components and translational validation, and applicants may not be NIH-F awardees or simultaneously hold another stipend-support mechanism.
