Tri-Alliance Grant Honoring ASHT Founders

Sponsored by the American Society of Hand Therapists, the American Hand Therapy Foundation, and the Hand Therapy Certification Commission, the annual Tri‑Alliance Grant (Founders) supports meaningful research across any domain of hand therapy with one or more awards up to $30,000 total. Applications are accepted annually January 1–March 1 via the AHTF/ASHT grant application link, with AHTF verifying appropriateness of proposals and awards typically announced by August. Eligible applicants are occupational or physical therapists (clinicians, graduate students, or faculty at accredited OT/PT programs) and must include at least one ASHT member in a clearly defined, significant role on the research team. Awardees are required to present findings at an ASHT annual meeting, submit a scientific abstract to ASHT within one year of study completion, and submit the completed research to a peer‑reviewed journal within one year of project completion.
