About this program
The Progeria Research Foundation (PRF) revised its December 2024 granting policy to fund Progeria-related research through two pathways: a proactive pathway in which PRF identifies priority needs and solicits appropriate laboratories, and an investigator-driven pathway accepting investigator-initiated submissions. Investigators may send a brief abstract at any time to researchgrants@progeriaresearch.org; there are no set deadlines and full proposals are by invitation only. Projects are selected to address identified gaps in Progeria biology, diagnostics, or therapeutics and will undergo review by PRF and enlisted subject-matter experts before invitation to submit a full proposal.
