Vallee Scholar Awards — career development awards for early-career biomedical investigators

About this program

The Vallee Foundation's Vallee Scholar Awards fund outstanding early-career investigators in basic biomedical research with six career-development grants of $400,000 each (paid over four years) and include participation in annual program meetings. Awards provide flexible, unrestricted support to advance investigators' research and professional growth. Institutions must be preselected by the Vallee Foundation Board and may submit only one nomination each. Eligible nominees must have earned a PhD, MD, or equivalent within 12 years of the application deadline and have held an independent (tenure‑track or equivalent) research position for no more than six years by that date.
