The Vallee Foundation's Vallee Visiting Professorship (VVP) awards month‑long sabbaticals that pair outstanding scientists with leading biomedical research institutes worldwide to promote intellectual exchange, enable focused research planning and experiments, and foster new international and interdisciplinary collaborations. The program funds short visits designed to establish durable partnerships and support research that would likely not be undertaken without the Foundation’s sponsorship. Applicants are typically senior, internationally recognized investigators (senior faculty or equivalent) who present a one‑month program and secure host‑institution support for collaborative activities. Selection favors proposals that demonstrate clear host commitment, strong potential for new cross‑institutional or interdisciplinary work, and minimal disruption to family or other professional obligations.
