About this program

The Valley Baptist Legacy Foundation is offering Collaborative Grants to promote health initiatives in the lower Rio Grande Valley, with a focus on obesity and diabetes prevention. Grants of up to $500,000 are available for collaborative projects among organizations, or for single organizations working on larger-scale initiatives related to health, including healthy lifestyles, mental health, and access to care.

Nonprofit organizations with tax-exempt status under the Internal Revenue Code are eligible to apply, and must serve residents of Cameron, Hidalgo, Starr, or Willacy counties.
