The PhRMA Foundation offers the Value Assessment and Health Outcomes Research Predoctoral Fellowship to support PhD candidates in advanced stages of training and thesis research, focusing on evaluating the delivery, effectiveness, and value of medicines and healthcare interventions. The fellowship provides $30,000 per year for up to 2 years, with an emphasis on proposals addressing clinical outcomes, patient-reported outcomes, health equity, and innovative value measurement methods, requiring patient engagement. Eligibility is limited to full-time, in-residence students at accredited U.S. universities, both U.S. and non-U.S. citizens, who have completed most pre-thesis requirements and are actively engaged in thesis research by the award activation date.
