About this program

The American Orthopaedic Association offers the Vincent D. Pellegrini, Jr. North American Traveling Fellowship, a four- to five-week fall 2027 tour of regional orthopaedic centers in the United States and Canada designed to promote clinical, scientific, leadership, and professional exchange. Applicants must have completed approved orthopaedic training on or after June 30, 2023, or on or after June 30, 2022, if they subsequently entered military service. Candidates must be qualified to practice orthopaedic surgery in the United States, be U.S. citizens or permanent residents employed full time at a U.S. hospital or institution, and be active AOA Members or Emerging Leaders. Applicants must be available for the fall 2027 tour and the subsequent AOA Annual Leadership Meeting; applications are due November 30, 2026.
