Voco Prize for Dental Biomaterials Research

About this program

Voco Company sponsors an annual £300 prize for the best oral communication on dental biomaterials, awarded following oral presentations at the BSODR Annual Meeting. Applicants must submit a 300‑word abstract via the meeting abstract submission site and the work must not have been published prior to submission (papers under consideration are acceptable). Eligibility is limited to postgraduate students or early career researchers within five years of their PhD who carried out the research primarily at a UK university and can claim at least 75% contribution; submissions must be made by the researcher seeking the prize, who must be a paid BSODR/IADR member and available to present. Winners are judged on their oral presentation, may request informal feedback on judging, and must submit a brief report outlining intended use of the award before payment.
