VRF Research Grant Pre-Application for Vitiligo Research

About this program

VR Foundation (a registered 501(c)(3) non‑profit) offers competitive research grants to support studies that develop novel vitiligo treatments or provide a firm scientific basis for new therapies. Awards are up to $50,000 per year for projects of up to 24 months, administered under a VRF Research Grant Agreement; recipients must submit a final report within one month of completion and use funds solely for the proposed research. Eligible principal investigators must hold a full‑time position in an academic research laboratory, hospital, or clinical unit, and proposed work must clearly contribute to treatment development or mechanistic understanding of vitiligo.
