Well Foundation Grants

About this program

The Well Foundation Fund, administered by the Community Foundation of Elkhart County, awards approximately $200,000 annually for programs promoting health and wellness in Goshen and throughout Elkhart County. The 2026 application period runs from August 15 through September 30, with requests of at least $1,000 considered through a competitive review process. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) public charities and public entities such as schools, municipalities, governmental units, and chambers of commerce; religious organizations may apply for nonsectarian projects. Funding must directly benefit Elkhart County residents, and individuals, deficits, lobbying, political activities, and other excluded expenses are ineligible.
