The Society for Neuroscience in Anesthesiology and Critical Care (SNACC) administers the annual William L. Young Neuroscience Research Award, providing $10,000 to support basic, translational, clinical, laboratory, or data-science projects that advance neuroscience in anesthesiology and critical care. Established in memory of William L. Young, MD, the award honors his career as a clinical and laboratory neuroscientist. Eligible applicants are SNACC members who are fellows or junior faculty within six years of their initial faculty appointment or first independent position after completion of specialty training at the time of application; academic physicians and scientists conducting relevant research are encouraged to apply.
