William P. Simmons Art Scholarship Fund

About this program

Administered by the Community Foundation of Central Georgia, the William P. Simmons Art Scholarship Fund awards scholarships to recognize and develop the artistic skills of students studying art at Wesleyan College or Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, with primary emphasis on juniors, seniors, and graduate students in painting, drawing, and other visual arts. Applicants must be enrolled as undergraduate or graduate students at Wesleyan or Mercer (Macon) pursuing an art degree and must be referred by their school's Art Department. Two scholarships are awarded annually at $2,000 each, and each recipient’s Art Department receives an additional $500.
