With Youth For Youth (WYFY) Grant Opportunities for Western New York

About this program

Youthprise, with funding from the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation and the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Foundation, is supporting With Youth For Youth (WYFY) to invest in redesigning afterschool and out-of-school-time programs and community-based youth sports in Western New York that center youth voice, equitable access, and systems-level improvements. Beginning in 2026 the WNY WYFY Youth Advisory Board (24 youth, ages 13–17) will distribute just over $2 million through youth-led grantmaking, using review criteria that prioritize meaningful youth leadership, clear youth benefits, mission-driven impact, and systems-change potential. Eligible applicants are 501(c)(3) public charities located in or serving Allegany, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, Erie, Genesee, Monroe, Niagara, Orleans, or Wyoming counties, and applications must be submitted online via the Foundant Grant Lifecycle Manager (no paper or emailed submissions).
