About this program
The Women United Microgrants, supported by the George and Merilyn Crain Foundation and Women United, offer small investments to women entrepreneurs in the Lafayette area to sustain and grow their businesses. The grants are administered by the United Way of Acadiana and support diverse ventures, including psychotherapy, lawn care, and business consulting. Eligibility is limited to women-owned businesses operating in the Lafayette area, with no specific application deadlines or cost-sharing requirements. Awardees are selected based on their potential to contribute to the local economy and community.
