Yamagiwa-Yoshida Memorial International Cancer (YY) Study Grants

Offered by the Japan National Committee for UICC, the Yamagiwa‑Yoshida Memorial International Cancer (YY) Study Grants provide postdoctoral funding—up to US$10,000 for a three‑month fellowship (extendable by up to two months if additional funds are secured)—to support initiation or continuation of cancer research with international collaborators across basic, translational, public health, or applied research. The call opens September 2026 and closes November 2026 (specific dates to be announced). Eligible applicants are postdoctoral researchers, clinicians, epidemiologists, and public health professionals who hold a PhD or equivalent obtained at least two years before the call publication and have a proven publication record in cancer research. The award is for research projects (not clinical training) and any extension must be funded externally at no cost to UICC.
