Youth Philanthropy Grant

About this program

The Black Hills Area Community Foundation, in partnership with the Rapid City Youth City Council, offers the Youth Philanthropy Grant to fund programs supporting youth in Rapid City, with a focus on mental wellness. The grant provides up to $2,500 for ongoing or new initiatives, including capacity-building efforts. Eligible applicants include IRS 501(c)(3) public charities, schools, government entities, and religious organizations, with programs that directly benefit youth and do not discriminate based on protected characteristics. Ineligible activities include religious or political endeavors, fundraisers, debt retirement, and operational expenses.
