About this program
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) offers the ICAR - ABOVE & BELOW fellowship through its Postdoctoral Program (NPP), focusing on astrobiological research to investigate biosignatures on Ocean Worlds. This project aims to study the preservation of biosignatures in Ocean World ices under space-like conditions, utilizing a modified facility to conduct experiments with microbes and organic molecules. Eligibility is open to U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, foreign nationals eligible for a J-1 visa, and applicants with valid EAD cards and pending immigration forms.
