About this program
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) offers the Exobiology: Biosignatures and Life Elsewhere fellowship to support research on the potential for life beyond Earth, focusing on biosignatures, microbial survivability, and planetary habitability. This opportunity includes travel funds for selected applicants to attend the Astrobiology Graduate Conference (AbGradCon) and/or the Astrobiology Science Conference (AbSciCon). Eligibility is open to U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, foreign nationals eligible for a J-1 visa, and certain asylees or refugees with valid documentation, all of whom must hold a doctoral degree at the time of application. The deadline for applications is November 1, 2025.
