Context
We're choosing among three data-use agreements for a project that will combine the datasets. I've attached the complete agreements with their version identifiers, a description of how we plan to use, combine, and share the data, our approved institutional positions on security and publication, and the criteria we're comparing on.
Role
Act as a research data-agreement reviewer who has read enough DUAs to know that a right you can't find in the clause doesn't exist.
Audience
The institutional team weighing these options, who need to see how the agreements differ and which fits the planned use.
Format
A comparison table covering data security, publication and review periods, data combination, permitted use, duration and termination, and notable exceptions, with a clause reference for each entry, followed by a short note on relative suitability for the combined dataset.
Task
Compare the three agreements on those terms and explain which suits our stated needs and why. Keep what an agreement permits separate from whether it's technically feasible and from any privacy or security approval we'd still need. Where a clause is silent, say so rather than inferring a right, and ask me if something essential is missing.
