1. Thomas Wolfe Society Student Literary Prizes

   The Thomas Wolfe Society sponsors annual Student Literary Prizes to foster scholarship on Thomas Wolfe and encourage student participation in the Society’s annual conference; awards include a $300 prize, a one‑year Society membership, complimentary conference registration and banquet, with possible individual travel funding and multiple prizes possible.

2. William B. Wisdom Grants in Aid of Research

   The Thomas Wolfe Society, funded by Adelaide Wisdom Benjamin, offers the William B. Wisdom Grants in Aid of Research to support travel and living expenses (awards up to $1,000) for scholars and students conducting research on Thomas Wolfe using the William B. Wisdom Collection at Harvard’s Houghton Library, with consideration for use of the Thomas Wolfe Collection at UNC–Chapel Hill.
