About this program

The National Alopecia Areata Foundation (NAAF) provides travel grants to early-career researchers, offering financial support for attending scientific conferences and presenting alopecia areata-related research. These grants aim to facilitate the dissemination of knowledge and encourage collaboration among researchers in dermatology and immunology.

Eligible applicants include graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and recent MDs/PhDs within two years of graduation. To qualify, applicants must have an accepted abstract for oral or poster presentation at the conference and be able to attend the entire event. International applicants not residing in the US can apply if presenting at a US conference.
